*children shared another item from their summer-in-a-bag with a partner and then had a choice whether to draw and "write" about this story or choose something else.

We learned about the symmetry of a butterflys wings and the children tried to create this on their own butterfly. They had to follow many steps: color, cut, glue, and paint!

*We sang a counting song about 10 Little Butterflies
*We completed our daily routines - # line, calendar, weather, and temperature.
*Children created buildings, designs, or patterns with their pattern blocks, which I photographed. We reviewed the names of the shapes - trapezoid, hexagon, rhombus, square, and triangle.
