*"Reading" and illustrating our Native poem, "A Wigwam Is My Home".
Social Studies
*creating art pieces that finish our Native village: fish, moose, corn, canoes

"The Lion and the Mouse" (a wordless book!) the children helped tell the story
Math
Number writing practice for numerals 5 and 6. Children drew a representative number of pictures.
*We compared number illustrations and noted how they were the same and different (I.e. 4+3, 2+5, 6+1 for number 7)
